Ken comes from a physics background and is co-founder and product manager at SiriusXT Ltd. The Dublin-based company has developed a commercial lab-scale cryo-soft X-ray microscope for imaging frozen hydrated specimens in the so-called 'water window'. Advantages of the technique include the ability to image whole cells with native contrast to a resolution of at least 50 nm. Ken is interested in correlative workflow development as well as finding new imaging applications that could benefit from the lab instrument.
